Personalized Pumpkin and Peanut Butter Dog Bones

Have you ever looked on the back of your dog treats, only to find the ingredient list is full of...things you can't pronounce?

Today's recipe is for your furry four legged friend, and probably contains all things you would find in your kitchen today - oats, eggs, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and cinnamon (optional). While we are sure they taste just as delicious without the stamping, we couldn't resist personalizing these and at under $10, we are already thinking of ways to use the stamps again.

As we head into the holidays, if your friends and family have pets, this is a great recipe to keep in your back pocket for a unique party favor, or even a personalized hostess gift, if you're the one doing the traveling for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Pro Tips:

  • Be sure to check your peanut butter for xylitol, it's an artificial sweetener and is toxic to dogs

  • If you have any pumpkin puree left over, don't toss it! A spoonful of pumpkin can be added to your dog's food and contains all kinds of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and E, as well as iron and potassium. It's also a great source of fiber

  • If using the stamps, be sure to arrange the word or phrase backwards. We found that making the bones thicker made for an easier time stamping

What are you waiting for? Order some stamps and try this recipe for yourself, we can guarantee your dog will give it two 'paws' up!
